AUDIO: Letting Everything Go

The following audio clip is taken from the first day of Andrew’s recent Being and Becoming Retreat in Arizona. In reference to meditation, Andrew makes the profound point that if we want to experience the freedom of enlightened awareness, we have to be willing, at least temporarily, to let absolutely everything go.

A conscious, but slow discriminative and regular daily effort is required to be able to “drop everything and let go” on demand. The bar has to be periodically raised to permanently drop various activities that refuse to drop but which can be dropped in the light of sustained discriminative meditative efforts. Initially a practice of intense efforts which becomes easier and easier as the practice is sustained. At some point of time, getting into a Meditative State is like turning the switch. The key reason why I observe this website is because
I do think you do typically give a slightly different leaning on points to
a lot of other websites so congrats: )
