People in India often talk of spirituality but mostly it is on superficial basis.They don't show the requisite thirst for Enlightenment, but seek more of settled relief and keeping up with the nasty demands of unsure economic scenario.. Although the so called infrastructure for spiritual growth is available in abundance in the Indian setting yet demands of economics takes precedence......Even otherwise, only fortunate few are bound for Enlightenment which is the rarest of rare commodity on our planet Earth... But at the same time it is seen that for the first time in the history of this planet maximum number of people are increasingly eagre to know something of the Beyond, or say the Divine and all this agrees with your observation that there is a definite shift in the consciousness of mankind towards spirituality and religions in the truer sense.
