I Want to Be Free!
Here’s the latest installment of Andrew’s interview with Chris Grosso of theindiespiritualist.com, this time describing the moment in time when he decided he wanted to be free more than anything else:
Question: What is one of the most defining moments of your life and why?
Answer: One day when I was 22 years old, I was sitting on a psychoanalyst’s couch when I realized I was sick of being a patient. I had made up my mind, based on the experience of Cosmic Consciousness that I had when I was 16 years old, that I wanted to be free, I wanted to be enlightened more than anything else.
So I sat up abruptly and said to the analyst, “I don’t want to do this anymore. I want to be free!” He replied, “You’re just getting started!” The reason it was a defining moment is that I felt no fear when he said that to me. My conviction in my own aspiration to be free was stronger than anything else in that moment, so I got up and walked out.
