VIDEO: Swami Chidanand Saraswati
Next month, Andrew will be returning to India for a series of talks and retreats to build on the momentum that started during his Indian book launch tour this past spring. Andrew always describes his trips to India as a kind of “return home,” because being in this ancient culture, where God, Consciousness, or Spirit remain central, allows any spiritually interested person to “come out” and let their deepest values shine in a way that isn’t possible in the secular west.
One of the best examplars of India’s rich spiritual heritage is Andrew’s friend, Swami Chidanand Saraswati, who is the head of the Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh. Swami Chidanand has an infectious love for and devotion to God that uplifts all those around him, as you can see in the video clip below, which was shot during Andrew’s 2010 visit to his Ashram.
If you’d like to learn more about Swami Chidanand Saraswati and his work, his biography was just published this week. You can learn more here.
