MEDIA: Do You Need a Teacher in Today’s World?
This August, Andrew will be participating in The Enlightenment Conference, an online event featuring many different spiritual teachers, artists, and visionaries exploring the relationship between enlightenment and the transformation of culture. As part of the lead up to the event, Andrew did a free audio dialogue with Arjuna Ardagh, a spiritual teacher and author of The Translucent Revolution, about the role of the Teacher or Guru in our modern world. I liked the idea of “the coach ” just because of the absence of hierarchy, I am not sure it is practically doable. For a while I was tempted by the idea but a tight relationship might be an obstacle to a free exploration. Though a constant mirror like the one constant presence of the coach
must be a faster way …
