I don't disagree with anything you say, except that enlightenment is not the end of something but the beginning of the new life of co-creation. Spiritual practice has a vertical and a horizontal axis. The vertical axis leads to enlightenment, but then the energy and the intelligence of Spirit must be brought down to clarify and revivify the world we live in, particularly the human world which has strayed so far from Truth. Through practice we become spiritual agents. We are Spirt's way of knowing itself. With respect, Kyugen Friend.
