After perhaps a long slog, to attain a higher understanding and experience an AHA! moment(s) brings with it, as it should, the reward of gatification of advancement, wouldn’t you agree?

It’s appropriate to be appreciative of your progress but not to become too smug about it, recognizing there’s still more work to be done and advancement of understandings to be made.

And avoid being too prideful but enjoyng a personal congratulatory pat on the back, a self-hug and smile of acomplishment.

How you will know you are progressing in developing spiritual consciousness is that ordinary self-centered ego will gradually give way to a less self-centered one and be transformed to a Transcended Ego where consciousness is focused less on self and more on SELF, in other words actions and energy directed to bettering the status quo or at least maintaining it in a positive way.

No guarantee ?:( …. but keep swimming

“Reality is not Truth”. Time is indeed a reality.Time as a horizontal line from past ,present to futur. But is this psychological time truth ? or it is only a mechanical response of a conditioned brain shaped by millenars of physical evolution?
So it sounds like a paradoxe that as long as we live in time, spiritual evolution in terms of something compelety new happens, obviously cannot occur. Yet time is all we got to work on the matters of ourselves.
The journey is really at the edge of a sharp razor and needs a constant awareness of the vast perspective of our human lives, occurring in an unmovable and yet unpredictable universe, which is out there and yet in here.
Estatic urgency and yet unshakable peace.
No guarantee of victory and yet absolute certainty of getting there.Houurrah!

“No guarantees” means being flexible enough to not-know, but committed enough to continue nonetheless. Authentic movements of Spirit in the Soul and psyche are “trans-rational,” beyond the gross waking awareness,and it takes conscious agreement to birth Spirit’s movements, and time to integrate that movement into the total being.Awareness is always hindsight,and how we translate what we have witnessed is of the upmost importance.

An authentic,emergent spritual movement probably won’t be what your “ego” wants,and the dissolution of ego-agendas and the separate self will come with great suffering,but the fortitude of the Soul to bring about the necessary transmutation,and the continued greeting of Spirit’s active force into consciousness,will always prove the “unreality” of the separate selfs’ motivations,thereby reinforcing and confirming that Spirit is the One in us, as us,both Being and Doing, the perfect union of the finite with Infinity, time and the Eternal;Not-Two at any moment.

As Andrew indicates,genuine development is realized only “in time.”Being is “not enough,” and while “Being” can’t be avoided,authentic evolution can be. Transcendence happens when we directly confront ourselves in our daily lives, challenging the unreality of our separation;dedication with no guarantees requires fearlessness in time.

Aspirants along the path toward fulfilling their goals and succeeding in their aspirations can be a long and winding road with successes and perhaps long periods of feeling stuck on plateaus and experiencing dark nights of the soul.

It may sometimes be discouraging and hopeless, not feeling advance of any kind and like watching paint dry really really slowly.

But if you keep faith and recognize that though there are no guarantees in the enterprise of becoming a true artist or gaining Understanding to your satisfaction, outer-directed vindication may not be forthcoming but inner-directed recognition of your progress and spiritual accomplishment is what counts. What’s important is to be dedicated and committed, recognizing small advances and keeping your sight on your objective.
